CINCINNATI (WKRC) - When is too soon to start playing Christmas music? Many might say after Thanksgiving but a Cincinnati radio station has already started with the holiday tunes.

Star 93.3, a contemporary Christian music radio station, began playing Christmas music on Halloween. Why so early?

"We believe Christmas is the most joyful time of the year! It’s all about celebrating the birth of Jesus... the biggest event in human history... and the one that our entire faith is built upon. We don’t think it’s ever too early to celebrate that," said the radio station on its website. "Even though the music is different from what we normally play, the message is still the same. God loves you and has a plan for your life and He desires a relationship with you! He loves you so much, that he sent his Son, Jesus, to die for you. We want EVERYONE in the Tri-State area to hear that good news! We believe it’s a celebration! Why would we limit a celebration THIS big to just a few weeks?"
