WVSSAC reveals 2025 high school football playoff brackets, schedule

The playoff brackets are set for high school football in West Virginia.

Following the release of the final rankings of the 2025 season on Saturday, the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission released the dates and times for the first round matchups in the state playoffs on Sunday.

The higher-seeded team in each matchup will host the game unless otherwise noted. Below the is the full schedule for each class:

Class AAAA

No. 16 Buckhannon-Upshur (2-8) at No. 1 Morgantown (9-1) – Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.

No. 15 Hedgesville (2-8) at No. 2 Huntington (8-2) – Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.

No. 14 Parkersburg South (3-7) at No. 3 Martinsburg (8-2) – Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.

No. 13 Washington (3-7) at No. 4 Jefferson (6-4) – Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m.
