CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — The University of Charleston softball improved to 6-0 and did it in dramatic fashion. The Golden Eagles swept a doubleheader from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, winning the first game 4-0, and walking off the second game 4-3.
Johnstown took a 3-0 lead in the seventh inning of game two but UC put on their rally caps to complete the comeback. Hannah Rose delivered a bases loaded hit to tie the game at three and two batters later Allysa Lake drove home the winning run with a hit up the middle.
