Sheriff: Man arrested after large quantity of narcotics, cash, weapons found at home

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office said a man is in custody after a search warrant was served and a large quantity of narcotics, cash and weapons were discovered inside a home.
Will J. Darnbrough, 42, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was arrested Monday after deputies served the warrant at a residence on State Route 7 South just outside of Gallipolis, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
“On Monday afternoon, while many were enjoying the Presidents Day holiday, your deputies were hard at work focusing on individuals who continue to poison our community and prey on our loved ones who suffer from addiction,” Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin said.
The sheriff’s office said the narcotics found at the home included suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and marijuana.
Darnbrough was taken to the Gallia County Jail. Charges will be filed after consulting with the Gallia County Prosecutor’s Office, the sheriff’s office said.
