CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Deputies in Cabell County have resumed the search for a man who jumped in the Guyandotte River on Thursday night while allegedly running from law enforcement.
The incident was reported about 7 p.m. near the 3300 block of U.S. 60.
A boat was deployed in the river Thursday night, but crews were not able to find the man. Efforts resumed Friday morning.
It’s unclear what prompted the chase that caused the man to allegedly run from deputies.
