Television star Cheryl Hines, who is also the wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., spoke to Armstrong Williams on Friday and opened up about her family life and her husband's role as the Secretary of Health and Human Services for the United States.

During her interview, she spoke about how her husband was still running for President, when the failed assassination attempt on President Trump happened in July of 2024. She said immediately after the attempt, she was rushed to a meeting with her husband and Trump, where they laid out plans for how to move forward in their campaigns.

Hines talked about how her entire life changed after that meeting in 2024. She went from campaigning to get her husband to the presidency, to supporting him in his new role.

Hines is promoting her new book "Unscripted," where she opens up about her family life and what she calls her "unapologetic" political views.
