Putnam County woman killed after her own vehicle runs her over

WINFIELD, W.Va. (WCHS) — An elderly woman in Putnam County was killed Thursday morning after it was discovered that she was run over by her own vehicle, deputies said.
According to Sheriff Bobby Eggleton of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, deputies said that they found 78-year-old Rosalee Gore in the Woodland Forest area of Winfield.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Thursday, per Eggleton. Deputies said they believe that Gore put her vehicle in neutral by accident and was then run over as the vehicle rolled.
