KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Northbound lanes of Interstate 77 are closed Monday evening in Kanawha County due to multiple car crashes and ice, first responders said.
The crashes were reported near the Eden’s Fork exit, according to the Sissonville Fire Department. The northbound lanes in that area have been closed due to icy road conditions.
No timetable was available on when the road would reopen.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use caution if traveling Monday evening. No other details were provided.
