The 47th modern North-South All-Star Classic was quite a game to send off some of the best athletes in the State of West Virginia. The game started fast when Ronnie Staley returned the opening kick-ff all the way down to the two yard line. It set up an easy touchdown for Sai'Vyon Brown out of George Washington. We would not see another score in this one until Brandon Poticher blocked North's field goal attempt. Bluefield's Jeffery King did the rest with a scoop and score on the final play of the first half. At one point, the South led 20-0. Then the North Bears rattled off two quick touchdowns to carve into that deficit. Team South put this one away with George Washington's Solomon Ferrell caught a long touchdown pass. They do just enough to hang on and get the 29-22 victory in the WCHS-TV North-South All-Star classic.
