Multiple agencies respond to fire at funeral home in Boone County
WHITESVILLE, W.Va. (WCHS) — TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE
Firefighters from several departments responded to a fire at a funeral home in Boone County Monday evening.
The fire happened at Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville shortly after 5:30 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers.
Dispatchers said the building was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.

Coal River Road was closed while crews responded to the incident, but has since reopened.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
