West Virginia football suffered its fourth straight loss Saturday 45-13 at UCF.

The Mountaineers went with Scotty Fox Jr. at quarterback, marking the first true freshman QB to lead the team since Fred Wyant in 1952.

Fox played the first three possessions and gave way to Khalil Wilkins after WVU failed to get any offensive momentum and began falling behind 14-0.

"We stunk in every phase, in every way," WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez said. "I'm hoping this is bottom."

Fox, Wilkins and wide receiver Cam Vaughn tried 28 passes, completing only 11 for 79 yards. The Golden Knights outgained WVU 578 to 210 in the game.
