Huntington police investigating shooting that injured 2 people

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — The Huntington Police Department said it is investigating a shooting that injured two people.
The shooting was reported just before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning on the 800 block of 20th Street, according to a Facebook post from the Huntington Police Department.
Police said they found two men with gunshot wounds upon arriving at the scene. Both were taken to a local hospital to treat their injuries.
Huntington PD then said that a vehicle they believed to be connected to the shooting was involved in a crash around 20th Street and 12th Avenue a little bit later. Police said one person fled the crash scene on foot. Investigators said they are working to determine whether or not the person was involved in the shooting.
Investigators said they also believe there were more people present at the shooting, whether it was during or just after the shooting took place.
