Five arrested in Boone County after warrant served in drug investigation

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Five people were arrested Friday after a search warrant in a drug investigation was served at a home in Boone County.
Boone County deputies, West Virginia State Police and members of the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force served the warrant, according to a news release Tuesday from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
The news release said the following people were arrested on these charges after the search:
* James Calvin "Jamie" Roberts, 47, of Madison, conspiracy
* Heather Brooke Thompson, 30, of Ashford, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and conspiracy
* Charlena Eldridge, 44, of Madison, conspiracy
* Dennis Eldridge, 29, of Madison, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and conspiracy
* James Fowler, 30, of Danville, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
All five suspects are currently being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail - Roberts, on a $30,000 property/surety bond; Thompson, on a $120,000 property/surety bond; Charlena Eldridge, on $20,000 property/surety bond; Dennis Eldridge, on a $150,000 property/surety bond; and Fowler, on a $250 cash only bond.
