It’s not as easy as counting 1, 2, 3 and 4 when it comes to understanding the proposed constitutional amendments that go by those numbers and will be on the West Virginia ballot in November.

The special gave detailed explanations of proposed Amendments 1, 2, 3 and 4 and a discussion with Marybeth Beller, an associate political science professor at Marshall University.

Below are the four amendments:

Amendment No. 1: Clarification of the Judiciary’s Role in Impeachment Proceedings Amendment

Amendment No. 2: Property Tax Modernization Amendment

Amendment No. 3: Incorporation of Churches or Religious Denominations Amendment

Amendment No. 4: Education Accountability Amendment
