CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Progress is being made on the demolition of the former Sears building in Charleston.
The Eyewitness News SkyTeam was out at the site on Tuesday, Feb. 28, to capture a birds-eye-view of the project.
A little more than a month into the project and work is almost halfway done. Once the building is finished, the foundation will be removed.
The site is planned to be developed into a hotel.
