If you love to hike, but don’t like packing all that gear- we might have just the West Virginia adventure for you.

Aaron Coleman, an avid adventurer, is the founder of The Greenbriar Goat, an outdoor tour operation with a surprising twist.

Instead of lugging your gear across rugged and mountainous terrain, he and his three American Alpine goats—Ragnar, Athelstan, and Floki—take you on a trek across the wild and wildly beautiful West Virginia Greenbrier Valley.

Despite their impressive horns, Coleman says there's nothing menacing about his goats. In fact, he says he bottle-fed all three, making them gentle, well-trained, and people-friendly.

So, what’s it like to hike with The Greenbriar Goat’s goats? The company offers several different types of trekking options, including a luxury breakfast featuring farm-fresh eggs, coffee, bacon (and yes, and more bacon), and creamy goat cheese – all sourced from local farmers and businesses.
