Deputies: Three arrested after found in vehicle with suspected fentanyl

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Logan County deputies said a woman and two men were arrested on multiple charges after officers responded to a report about unresponsive people inside a vehicle and found them with suspected fentanyl.
Christina Wolford Jude, 41, Jamie Wash Church, 44, and Arnold Chester Harvey, 49, were taken into custody after an incident Saturday in the Bruno area, according to deputies and jail records.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they were able to remove all three suspects from the vehicle without incident, a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office said. Emergency medical personnel arrived, and all three suspects refused medical treatment.
A white-and-gray powdery substance consistent with fentanyl was found in aluminum foil in the cupholders near the middle console of the vehicle, the news release said.
The three suspects were arrested on the following charges: Jude, possession of fentanyl, three counts of obstructing and public intoxication; Church, possession of fentanyl, driving without a license, no insurance, no registration, no motor vehicle insurance, public intoxication and obstruction; and Harvey, possession of fentanyl, three counts of obstruction and public intoxication.
All three are currently being held at Southwestern Regional Jail.
