Marjorie 'Traitor' Greene: Trump has new nicknames for MTG, also calls her 'wacky'
WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump made up a few new nicknames for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as a feud between the two continues to heat up.
Marjorie 'Traitor' Green [sic] is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!" Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday morning.
The nicknames didn't stop there. He also called her "Marjorie Taylor Brown" and said she is a RINO.
Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was," he added in another post. "Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)!"
Less than 12 hours earlier, Trump called her "wacky" and announced that he withdrew his support and endorsement of her. He said all she does is "COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!"
Trump said tensions have been flaring for months.
"It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement -- which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day," Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday night.
"I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors," he added.
Taylor Green appeared on ABC’s “The View” on November 4. During an interview, she criticized Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson for the way he handled the government shutdown, and also said Trump "usually yells at everybody."
Taylor Green later took to social media to say she thinks the source of her conflict with Trump is her stance on the Jeffrey Epstein files, as she has been pushing for their release.
President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files," Taylor Green wrote on X.
And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files," she added. "It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level."
Taylor Greene continued to defend her stance in an X post on Saturday morning. She also said she believes in the American people more than she believes in any leader or political party and expressed frustration that the files are yet to be released.
I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are," she wrote. "And it truly speaks for itself. There needs to be a new way forward. The toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people, whom I love.
Trump said he doesn't care if the Epstein files are made public.
The House is expected to vote next week on a discharge petition that could trigger the release of all the files the Department of Justice has related to Epstein.
I don't care about it, released or not," he told reporters late Friday night while aboard Air Force One.
