Dates, times for 2025 West Virginia high school football quarterfinals announced

WEST VIRGINIA (WCHS) — The first round of the 2025 West Virginia high school football playoffs are in the books.
Just eight teams remain in each of the four classes, with some taking easy wins and others scoring the upset to stay alive.
The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission has announced the dates and times for the quarterfinals of each class. The higher-seeded team in each matchup will host their respective game unless otherwise noted.
Class AAAA
No. 8 Spring Mills at No. 1 Morgantown – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m.
No. 7 University at No. 2 Huntington – Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
No. 6 Wheeling Park at No. 3 Martinsburg – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m.
No. 5 George Washington at No. 4 Jefferson – Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
Class AAA
No. 9 Chapmanville at No. 1 Bridgeport – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
No. 7 Herbert Hoover at No. 2 Princeton – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m.
No. 14 Robert C. Byrd at No. 6 Spring Valley – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
No. 5 Nitro at No. 4 North Marion – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m.
Class AA
No. 8 Mingo Central at No. 1 Frankfort – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m.
No. 7 Midland Trail at No. 2 Bluefield – Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
No. 11 Clay County at No. 3 Philip Barbour – Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
No. 5 Doddridge County at No. 4 Independence – Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
