BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Braxton County Schools announced the school system will soon have three “activity” buses to assist families with combating high fuel prices and transporting kids to after-school activities.

The service will be starting on Wednesday, Sept. 21, according to a Facebook post Monday shared on the school system’s Facebook page.

Specific drop-off will be determined by where the students live.

School officials said the three buses will cover the following areas:

* Middle and high schools to Airport Road to Flatwood Elementary to Burnsville Elementary areas

* Middle and high schools to Chapel Road, Davis Elementary and Frametown Elementary areas.

* Middle and high schools to Sutton to Wolfe Run to Little Birch areas.
