Adam Sandler says it's 'horrendous' wearing suits while promoting new movie 'Jay Kelly'
Adam Sandler is known for his love of baggy shirts and shorts with bold prints, but he has drastically changed his wardrobe during the press tour for his new film and he's hated every minute it!

He told Entertainment Tonight, "It’s been horrendous. I don’t like the feeling. I think I only have three different suits, and one of them I don’t like. I can’t stand the pants. I can’t stand the jackets, the stupid shirts. Hate them all.”
And even when complimented on his new look, he replied: "No ... Thank you."
Adam's "Jay Kelly" co-star George Clooney previously took the credit for his friend's new look and felt his pal looked much "nicer" as a result.
Clooney told People magazine, "I actually [have] been making Adam wear suits. Don't you think he looks nicer instead of those big baggy shorts? I love him. He's the sweetest man in the world. He's a dear friend and the fact that I got to work with him again is [great]."

Sandler previously admitted he finds it "funny as hell" that he has "unintentionally kind of become a style icon" to his fans, telling Complex,"It's funny as hell. And whenever one of my kids or their friends talks to me about it... my wife's like, 'What the hell are we talking about right now? How did that happen?' But my wife [Jackie] always was nice to me about my clothes. Even when we were young, others would say, 'Would you put on something better than that? Your wife's dressed so beautifully.' My wife would say, 'He’s comfortable like that. Let him do that. Leave him alone.'"

The 59-year-old star also confessed he doesn't give too much thought to what he wears, telling Mystery Fashionist in a TikTok video, "Whatever is in the closet, I grab it. I think I got a bunch of the same socks. Underwear's kinda similar, too. I grab it, I don't think about it much."
He laughed, "Most people make fun of me in my family, but I keep moving."

Despite his lack of effort when it comes to fashion, Adam "accidentally" inspired the Sandlercore trend, which has seen Gen Z's wear his comfy attire.
He reacted in an interview with PEOPLE, "You know, this is an accidental thing. But here I am wearing goofy clothes, and I don't know. I don't think about it."
